Paige Parkerson of Beaumont, Texas has been charged with first-degree felony murder for allegedly stabbing her children’s father over a cheap Mother’s Day gift.
The father, Clifton “JR” Barkin, was dropped off at home around 11:30 p.m. Sunday night by his mother, Evetta Wright, after she drove him to a local Wal-Mart to purchase flowers and a Mother’s Day card for Parkerson.
