Cynthia Solomon Holmes Foundation Host Sarcoma Awareness Month Event
Saturday July 14, 2012, The Cynthia Solomon Holmes Foundation will be rolling out the red carpet for Sarcoma Awareness Month. This free red carpet event will take place from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Double Cross Lounge on West Gray with complimentary appetizers and desserts. The event will place the social enthusiasts and the philanthropists in a bustling scene that allows for networking and educating each guest on Leiomyosarcoma (LMS), a rare sarcoma cancer. Throughout the evening, goals, patient advocacy and research strategies for a cure will be discussed. Patrons will also have the opportunity to not only receive information on the disease, but can become an active partner in fighting for a cure for(LMS) research.
“One of the important aspects of National Sarcoma Month is awareness of every sarcoma disease that takes the lives of our loved ones. What The Cynthia Solomon Holmes Foundation seeks to do during this month, is to let those patients and families affected by Leiomyosarcoma (LMS) know that we are in the fight with them. We will do our part and support research to find better treatment options and lengthen the life of these individuals. We want them to know ‘there is hope’.” – Chandalyn Williams, Executive Director
