The long-awaited 2025 NFL Draft is finally here, as 32 prospects will hear their name called tonight. One lucky player will be walking across the stage donning a Houston Texans cap, after the team makes their pick at No. 25.
The need for the Texans in the first round seems to be getting quarterback C.J. Stroud some help on offense, and general manager Nick Caserio believes they’ll find a good player that can make a difference in the first round:

“We’re always prepared to pick. If we pick at 25, we’re going to get a good football player. That’s what we’re focused on. Honestly, like we feel good about this draft. There are players littered throughout the draft, so we are pretty well positioned.”
While Caserio hasn’t publicly committed to picking an offensive lineman, if the Texans decide to stay at No. 25, getting added protection for Stroud is likely his top priority tonight. The team could also look in the direction of adding another piece to their receiver room. Whatever direction Caserio and the Texans go tonight, it’s sure to be an aggressive move to improve the team.
Here’s 10 NFL Draft prospects that the Texans could be targeting at No. 25, based on several mock drafts:
